Fills and removal
Lash Fills in Logan, Utah
A set of eyelash extensions is not a one-time purchase. Your natural lashes shed a little every day, and the extension attached to each one goes with it. A lash fill replaces what has been lost, so your set looks as full on fill day as it did on the day you first sat in the chair.
At Radiant Flutter Co. in Logan, Utah, fills start at $55 when you come back within 2 weeks of your last appointment, and the price is a little higher at 3 weeks. Here is how fills work, how to time them, and what to do if you wait too long.

What a fill is
Natural lashes go through their own growth cycle. Each one grows, rests, sheds and is replaced, and this happens all the time, a few lashes at a time. An extension is attached to a single natural lash, so when that lash sheds, the extension goes with it. Over a couple of weeks you will notice the set getting thinner, with small gaps appearing.
A fill goes back over the set and adds new extensions where lashes have been lost, so the fullness and the shape come back. It is not the same as applying a new full set: your existing extensions stay, and the work is concentrated on the gaps. That is why a fill takes less than a full set and costs less.
Fill prices
Fill pricing applies within 2 or 3 weeks of your last appointment. The price depends on the style of your set, and the table above lists every one. In short, fills run from $55 for a Classic set at 2 weeks, and the 3 week price sits a little higher because there is more to replace.
The reason for the 2 and 3 week windows is practical. The sooner you come back, the more of your set is still in place, so there is less to rebuild. Waiting longer means more gaps to fill.
How to time your fills
Most people settle into a rhythm. If you like your set to look full at all times, book your next fill before you leave your appointment, around the 2 week mark. If you are happy with a slightly softer look in the last days before a fill, 3 weeks works well.
Your own lash cycle affects the rhythm. Some people hold their extensions longer than others, and the way you care for the set and your habits both matter. After a fill or two we will know your pattern and can plan around it. If you have an event coming up, such as a wedding, a trip or photos, count backward from the date and book the fill so it lands a few days before.
What happens at a fill appointment
A fill follows the same three steps as every visit at the studio. We start with a short consultation: how your set has held up, whether you would like to change the length or the look, and anything that has bothered you. Then the treatment: new lashes are hand-applied where they are needed, never rushed. Then aftercare, with simple guidance and take-home products.
A fill is a good moment to adjust the style. If your Classic set feels too plain now that you are used to it, you can talk about moving toward Hybrid or Volume. If a set feels too heavy, you can go lighter.
Making your fills last
The general aftercare rules for lash extensions all help your set last between visits. Keep the lashes clean, brush them gently every day with a clean lash wand, and do not pull or pick at them. Keep oil-based products away from the lash line, because oils can weaken the bond. Avoid heavy rubbing when you wash your face, and sleep on your back or side if you can.
Picking at extensions pulls out the natural lash with them, which thins your own lashes and shortens the life of the set. If an extension is bothering you, leave it and tell me at your next visit.
- Brush gently each day with a clean lash wand
- Keep oil-based makeup removers and creams away from the lash line
- Do not pull, pick or rub at the lashes
- Book your fill before the set gets sparse, not after
A fill or a new set?
A fill makes sense when most of your set is still in place and you want it topped up. A new full set makes sense when you are changing to a different style, or when so much of the old set has gone that there is little left to build on. Neither is better in general. It is a question of what your lashes look like on the day you come in, and we will look at them together at the start of the appointment.
If you are thinking of changing from a natural look to a fuller one over time, fills are a gentle way to do it, because you can ask for a little more length or density each visit.
If you have waited too long
Life happens, and sometimes a fill slips past the 2 or 3 week window. Come anyway. When a set has lost a lot of its extensions, there is more to rebuild, and we will talk through the right appointment together before I begin.
Removal
If you are finished with extensions, or you want to start fresh with a different style, ask for a professional removal instead of pulling them off yourself. Extension removal is $25. Taking them off carefully protects your natural lashes.
